Half a year ! My Princess is 6 months old!

Happy half birthday to my precious green eyed baby girl..!

Some things that Mommy will never forget about you baby girl are:

- Those beautiful green eyes that melt me

- They way you rub your eyes and throw your head back when you are sleepy

-How you love to eat baby food so much that when its all gone you start to fuss

-How when you are nursing you unlatch just to give me a smile 

-The way you kick your little legs when you are watching your brother or cousins play

-How you constantly make sure I am still there by looking at me every 2 seconds

-How you sound with that raspy little voice of yours 

-The way your smile with your mouth wide open

You my little love are an angel....God sent you here for great things! One day you will move moutains little one.

Since you are my last baby I find myself taking in the moments more...Even on the days that you are more fussy than normal or on the days that life is crazy busy...no matter what I am your comfort. There is something to be said for that. Sure, there are times that I just want you to sleep or let daddy hold you BUT more than any of that I love that you depend on me. That you love me so fiercely that I am who you want. It's a feeling that I can not really put into words but more a bond we share. You and your brother are my sunshine. 

You are finally sleeping in your crib, flat, not swaddled at all and you are rolling to your tummy to sleep! I was a nervous nelly at first but you are old enough and rolling so well that your Doctor said it wasn't a concern. We had to do the cry it out method :( no worries , your bubba went through it too! Anyways you are sleeping from like 8 pm - midnight ( waking for a couple minutes & self soothing back to sleep) and waking to eat at around 5 or 6 am ! You typically take 2 naps a day...a morning one and a afternoon one if we are at home. If we are on the go you don't want to miss a thing so you get way overtired. I am just so excited that we got rid of the swaddle...next is that dang paci!!!

You are wearing 3 month clothes & 3-6 month sleepers

Size 2 diapers

You weigh12 lbs and a couple ounces 

You love being outside 

No teeth yet but I swear you are teething

You love ALL baby food now

You are still a Momma's girl but are getting better at letting daddy and others console you

Bath time is still a big hit for you

That stinking paci is your obsession, you will reach for it and get it back in your mouth by yourself 

You are so close to sitting up

You are using your voice more 

Light up toys are your favorite right now

Your jumper-roo makes you smile 

You DISLIKE peas and green beans

You got in the hot tub for the 1st time and loved it

You stayed the night away from me for the first time at 5 months old

Still drink 4-5 ounces every 2-3 hours. Breast when with mommy and bottle with others

In a field of Roses , She's a Wildflower ( 5 months old )

5 months old....

Mommy is having trouble keeping up with these blogs! Times is flying by and its so hard to remember to take the time to blog. Life as a Mom, coach, wife, house keeper , and chef is making the days fly by.

My sweet girl has made some big changes over the past month! She is now sleeping in her crib in her room. This was harder on mommy than it was on baby girl. When we moved her to her crib she was swaddled but laying flat. She was waking up soon often so I tried to do the cry it out method and I just couldn't handle it. So instead I moved her to a 50/50 swaddle. She seemed to really like that so we went with it! It's baby steps for us ....

Sister girl started some baby foods. Things like Bananas, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes & Apples. She loves to eat. She is now a rolly polly....tummy time isn't so bad anymore! We are still breastfeeding and its going well so far.

She is wearing 3 month clothes and squeezing into 3 month sleepers
Size 2 diapers
Weighs 11 lbs and some odd ounces ?
She LOVES her paci
Car rides usually put her to sleep
She always smiles at her POP
Baths are still one of her favorite things
She has really started reaching and grabbing things
We are working on sitting up, she's still pretty wobbly right now
Being breastfed I don't know how many ounces she's getting but when she has a bottle she's getting 4 ounces and that seems to satisfy her!

Baseball just started for Bowen and I am helping Casey coach...Doing so added another level of busy to our lives but I am so thankful that MeMe , Nanny and Gram help out during practices with Bristol so that she isn't out in the weather so much. Plus she's getting some one on one time with grandparents! I make sure to pump so that she will have milk if she needs it while away from me. So far she is doing well with having more bottles than normal.

She is such a joy to be around! She has a big open mouth smile that can brighten anyones day. My heart knew that she was just what it needed. I love my Bowen and Bristol more than I'll ever be able to express....I just thank the good Lord daily for all the blessings he has given me.

4 months old for B. Rae and Update on Bowen

It's been a crazy busy past month at the Nowetner house. Christmas festivities, New Years, and battling the FLU !!! Thank goodness Bristol skipped out on getting the flu but poor Bowen came home from the deer lease right after Christmas with the Flu and poor little man had to suffer through it for about a week.

Christmas was a blast as always. It is getting more fun each year with Bowen. 4 is such a fun age. Adding Bristol this year was the best gift I could have ever been given. We are adjusting to having 2 kiddos. I am not going to lie though, it took us a bit to get adjusted. I feel like since Bowen was almost 4 when Bristol was born....we had kind of forgotten how demanding the baby stage is. But it has been fun starting it over again.

Bristol has started wearing 3 month sleepers
Still can wear size 1 diapers but can wear size 2 as well
Bristol weighs 10 lbs 15 oz
She is getting better at tummy time
She can roll both ways now!
We started to try to transition from being swaddled and in the rock n play at night to laying flat without the swaddle ( so far we are unsuccessful, she just screams )
She is still breastfed
She loves to people watch
Baths are her favorite
She is most definitely a Momma's girl


Bowen adores her. I would have never dreamed that he would be so good with her! He is constantly checking on her, loving on her and keeping me on my toes. What a good big brother he is :) We got Bowen all signed up for T-ball. I can't wait to be a baseball Momma! Let the fun begin

Happy 3 months Babygirl

our sweet little girl is 3 months old! This past month we have watched her grow and develop so much. She celebrated her first Thanksgiving !! She even made her first trip to Disney World that was her first airplane ride!! We are so blessed to have our little miracle here with us.

Disney World was a blast. Big Brother Bowen LOVED it as usual and Bristol was such a trooper. She slept in her stroller, nursed wherever ( but Disney has "baby care" centers and nursing rooms which is amazing), and slept like a champ during the night at the cabin. I was really nervous on how it would be taking a baby but it happened to be the perfect age as far as her being content just being in her stroller. 

-Bristol is still wearing some newborn clothes and some 0-3 month clothes.

-She is still breastfed ! 

-Wears Size 1 diapers

-Smiles when she hears my voice

-Still dislikes tummy time very much

-Still sleeps in a rock n play in Mommy & Daddy's room

-Goes to bed around 10 and sleeps till around 6 am , eats and sleeps another 3 hours!

-She got her ears pierced on December 15th 

-She loves when Bowen talks to her...she always gives him the biggest smiles

Miss Priss is such a sweet baby. She's way more laid back than her big bubba was at this age. Case and I are enjoying every minute of watching her grow. Grow baby Grow.
